Grande Allée / Forecourt Park Update

The community association held an open house February 29, 2016 so residents could review the final concept plan for the new community park encompassing the Grande Allée and the Deschatelets forecourt within Greystone Village. The plan well reflects the ideas proposed by community members at the park planning meeting held last June at Lady Evelyn School. Over the last eight months the plan has been refined to reflect direction from the City's parks planning section and suggestions from OOECA's parks committee led by Eddie Gillis.

Lessons Learned - Reflections on Four Years as OOECA President

OOE volunteers - and OOECA Board members - have remarkable competence, energy, dedication and collaborativeness. They participate to build our whole community, not to have “power,” advance their personal agendas or their own backyard issues. For example, all four past presidents of OOECA - including one who now lives in Sweden - continue to actively contribute to community initiatives.
